Lush Hair Extensions Review

Hello my beauties,

Today's post will be a bit different...

A little background

I wear hair extensions for about 4 years  now and I honestly changed so many companies I don't even remember any more. I used to change my hair extensions approx. every 3 months, so do the math;)

I wear them on everyday basis so they get damaged pretty easily, due to the shredding, styling by heat, hair products, washes, etc. Also, I have to be honest I hadn't really taken proper care of them. I wouldn't store them in a box or some sort of a case so they would have tangles all over them and hence shred a lot when brushing and/or combing. I used to buy the wefts as a long single weft and sew the clips on myself. Now.. I'm not good with sewing so my clips would fall after a couple months use.

This time I decided to take proper care of my hair extensions so they last longer and look better. I did some research and decided to go with a company called Lush Hair Extensions, based in Surrey, UK. I also decided to get the full head set with clips on so I wouldn't have to do the sewing myself and destroy them.

The good,

First of all, this company has this amazing service with colour matching your hair with the hair extensions. The only thing you do is send them 1 or more images with your hair colour and they email back with the suggested colour. In my case I decided to go with a different colour than the suggested one (#27) as the images I've sent them would show my hair colour a shade lighter. Their customer service is super quick as they reply within 24 hours-AND they are actually really polite (which I love with customer service anywhere).

I payed for standard delivery and my hair extensions arrived in 3 days. They also offer Next day Delivery for only £7.99 and International Delivery for £8.99. To some it might seemed quite a lot but to me no-I used to travel all the way to Leicester to buy my hair extensions from a local store 2 or 3 years ago. Yes, I was that crazy!

Now, onto the actual hair extensions... They match my hair perfectly and they blend really well with my ombre hair.. This is exactly the colour (#14) I was looking for and I'm really happy with it! Second thing I love about them is they are quite thick and super soft, which is a plus for me as my hair are thick and I love soft, healthy-looking hair.

And the bad...

There is some shredding, which is normal, just like your own hair would shred during the day. They do not shred that much though. I had hair extensions shredding that much that if you save all the hair, you could make another set out of it!!

More info here:

Lush hair extensions in my honest opinion are of great quality human hair, as I described above.
They are 100% Remy Human Hair and 100 grams of silky soft European Human Hair.
Also they come in a set of 8 wefts:
1x8'' wide weft (4 clips attached)
2x6'' wide weft (3 clips attached)
2x4'' wide weft (2 clips attached)
1x3'' wide weft (2 clips attached)
2x2'' wide weft (1 clip attached)

Disclaimer

I am not associated with the company in any form, I purchase the set of hair extensions with my own money and this is my honest opinion on them. I only wanted to share my thoughts and opinions because they are worth their value.

Sincerely,
A Shopaholic
xoxo
